A scooter leg cover (also called a scooter apron) is a protective accessory that covers your legs and lower body against rain, cold and splashes. There are several types of rain protection:

• Fixed aprons, attached directly to the scooter (often model-specific), with your legs kept under the apron.
• Semi-rigid models, usually quite bulky and hard to store afterwards in the top case or under the seat.
• Waterproof overtrousers, effective against rain but not cold, which you put on over your clothes and often have to take your shoes off to wear.

A wipe with a damp sponge is enough for quick cleaning. For a full wash, the leg cover can be machine washed at 30°C (delicate cycle). Do not iron or tumble dry.
