Why this brand?
What does eco-responsible mean for JUP-ON?
- Choice of raw materials. Comfortable, high-quality fabrics that last, and for some models in the collection, 100% recycled fabric (denim) from garments given a second life in a circular-economy approach. Our accessories come from the traditional industry. But our ambition is to offer you products in 100% recycled material!
- Local production. Made in France, designed in Marseille and made in Marseille: it's hard to be more local!
- Supporting the solidarity economy. Our products are made by a workshop committed to the Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) through a work-integration programme (ACI).
- Eco-designed products. A simple but effective cut for everyday use, designed to limit fabric offcuts and waste.
- Durable products. It is also a question of style, with products that outlast trends. Because you shouldn't have to replace your gear every year, we pay great attention to the choice of materials and accessories and to finishing: unquestionable quality.
- Zero packaging. No pointless polluting packaging! Your scooter leg cover comes with a carry bag you can keep to protect it or carry it anywhere. We include a simple recycled-paper leaflet with everything about the brand and how to use the product.
- Collaborative creation. Our collections are created with the JUP-ON community through regular calls on social media (Instagram), so we are sure to meet your expectations.
- Finally, pre-orders on selected products. No needless stock or unsold items: fair production for fair consumption.
- And last but not least, transparency! With pre-orders, few intermediaries, a small team overseeing the whole production chain, local manufacturing, close customer service and transparent prices… in short, we tell you everything and hide nothing!
- Coming soon… to go all the way in our commitment, we are trying to select bio-based or recycled accessories (everything in your leg cover except the fabric), and prototypes of new products are under way… all in a virtuous circular-economy approach. And many more ideas… but for that, patience!
Where does the name come from?
So French!
It could be a simple skirt designed to protect you from rain and cold… but it is much more than that. With its modern design and its answer to practical needs, the JUP-ON 2-second leg cover is resolutely innovative.
Unlike universal scooter aprons that attach to the vehicle, you fasten it at the waist and wear it over your clothes, hence the ON (easy!).
And it wouldn't be a French brand without borrowing its name from a garment from another era, so French and so vintage: the famous jupon (petticoat)!
